Geelong Masters Football Club is actively recruiting Coaches for 2024

17 Oct 2023 by Rob Fletcher

Geelong Masters compete in the Vic Metro over 35s AFL Masters competition with 4 successful sides across 3 age groups

- Over 55’s: A very welcoming side within a competition where footy is all about fun, no finals but scratches that competitive itch for the lads that just can’t hand them up

- Over 50’s: A very successful side having won 2022 & 23 premierships

- Over 35’s Seniors: A strong outfit with a narrow Grand Final loss in 2022 and just missing the finals in 2023

- Over 35’s Reserves: Good depth and a tight camaraderie has seen the reserves compete in the 2022 & 23 grand finals but unfortunately unable to take home the silverware

- With potential to add an Over 45’s side

Masters is all about playing footy for fun, but does take on a customary competitive streak when the lads cross that white line. Each side loves a win to sign the song loud and proud while maintaining the Masters mantra of inclusion and mate ship. Geelong Masters Football Club prides itself on involving families with several social opportunities and providing the chance for the kids to watch their old man try and get a kick with a great bunch of blokes.

Recruiting is already in full swing with several new 35’s players set to join the blue & white hoops in season 2024. All coaching positions are up for appointment with a great opportunity across the 35’s to take both sides to the next level in 2024 and bring home the silverware.

The Geelong Masters summer 9’s competition will kick off again in late November which has been the centre piece in attracting new players while keeping pre season Playing / non-playing coaches are encourage to apply.
