That’s a wrap for competition in season 2025 for all Geelong Masters AFL teams. It’s been an amazing year both on and off the field.

From Hoskins Hero’s pre season camp down at Barwon Heads. To our annual 9s comp at Eastern Gardens. We braced for big change in 2025 with the newly formed 45s team and the 35s going into div 1. We kicked off the year in style at The Elephant & Castle Hotel for season Launch. We had amazing 1st ever mid year ball. Cheeksy’s fancy dress trivia night was a hit again, and we returned to host a Ladies day and held a past players day, which was amazing to see so many legends of Geelong down here.

Something has been building over the last couple of years down here at Geelong, we’ve had a lot of new recruits come in and have embraced the family first culture that we instilled in our playing group. More evident when singing the club song after a win, there are more kids than players in the circle. It’s fantastic to be apart of, and we are always looking for new players.

Training never stops at Masters and we will continue to train on Thursday’s up until Grand final week. Then in the first week of october, we will move over to St marys guild in Newtown for our summer training, yep still Thursday’s, but a bit later in the day. So if you are keen for a kick or want to make new mates or get back into some competitive footy, come on down to Grinter reserve at 5pm Thursday or contact Paul Swampy Collis on 0437740104.

Presentation Night is on the 19/9 at the elephant and castle from 6.30pm. Get your tickets here.
