With a successful Family day in the books we now turn our attention as a club to our next home game, which is a triple header against Williamstown Superules Football Club on the 16/5 at Grinter reserve, Newcomb. We are playing for the Outside the Locker Room cup in the best out of 3 format. Williamstown currently hold it, and we just can't let that happen again. But the day is more important than that, we are also raising funds and awareness to 4 vital charities that are close to our hearts, they are

Down syndrome Victoria
Rule prostate cancer

With games starting at 3pm (45s), 5pm (35s reserves) and 7pm (35s seniors) there is plenty of footy to watch. There are food trucks/coffee van on hand to feed the masses, and the Newcomb Football Club bar will be open all day.

There will be events and promotions going on though the event to help raise money. To end the event Tom 'The Suburban footballer' Siegert will be doing a show and also an auction where any item that goes above reserve, that amount goes to charity. Tickets are $50ea and include a feed from Luka Pizza. 100% of tickets sold to the show goes towards these great charities. Tickets will be on sale shortly.

For the first time, both clubs will be warming up together in the same outfit and come together for a talk in the middle of the ground at half time in the second game, where we will have a quick chat about where we are as blokes our age and the importance of speaking up and getting checked out, even at the smallest thing. The warm up tops, who are sponsored by, and we can't thank enough, Bryan Elliott construction, Reece Plumbing and Luka Pizza and Pasta Bar. All players, coaches and trainers will receive a top for a small fee and all monies raised will go to these charities.
